The begining.....

I started collecting 40k back in 4th ed with the odd game here and there but I never got into it properly because I found the rules a bit confusing (especially weapon str V toughness needs a certain role to hit). Over the last year I started collecting Tau and began playing in Gamersworld, Dublin on a Wednesday night where people of all ages and experience play. I thought it would be cool to create a blog and follow my progress into a reasonable player. I have mainly been playing friendly games on both wednesdays and saturdays, one of the players in Gamersworld developed a campaign and I placed in an alright position considering I only played in three games. My plan is to perfect my own strategies to cope with a variety of armies and play in a tournement.
